The few gems in there like Geosenge Town are few and far inbetween, and can probably be attributed to Masuda or another unnamed composer. Go Ichinose completely shits all over this kid. It's not even a fair debate. He's so bad that he left Game Freak in 2014 and only came back on a contractual basis to lend 1 more measly song for Sun and Moon. If that doesn't speak volumes of how bad the OST is, nothing else will. His songs are cheap, overly grandiose and Disney World-like in execution (Route 1, Lumiose City, etc.). Everything meanders or has ill-fitting intense instruments during action setpieces to cover for his frail composing ability. Route 7 is probably the most grating and soulless song ever made in the history of Pokemon.

Game Freak thinks France is some giant tacky history museum that has been perpetually sunbleached. The main city itself is a cartoonish approximation of a single landmark IRL, with the surrounding areas consisting of either bland country fields or bland beaches and coastlines. They had to shoehorn in an out of place arid desert and snowy mountain just to spice up how fucking flaccid the whole country feels. If I was a yuropoor I'd be ashamed of having my country representrd in such an amateur fashion.
>Best customization.Does this actually positively affect the core gameplay? It doesn't. It's just frivolous distraction for tumblrites and normalfags. We had customization before in D/P with the custom seal balls.
