- Has a hidden ability that most Fighting types have and fits fighting types more (Vital Spirit, I mean come on, its not referring to electricity its referring to its fighting spirit and stamina)
- Has huge fucking gorrila hands for punching
- Erroneously has red details added to it like the red tail tips and red eyes, when dashes of red commonly apply to new Fighting types (See: Chesnaught's red line stripe, Scrafty's red hairdo, etc.)
- Is shown in the anime constantly brawling up close and wrestling with its tail
It's very obviously meant to have been Electric/Fighting originally but GF pussied out, maybe for various reasons like balancing or some shit. Magmortar possibly also would have been Fire/Fighting seeing as it knows fucking Focus Blast and also has Vital Spirit but maybe they didnt want to make a Fighting type based around special attacking after Lucario already filled that niche, and plus shooting cannons doesnt exactly fit for Fighting so they scrapped that. But then that leaves Electivire so instead they cuck him too so he wouldnt outshine Magmortar as his counterpart. To this day we still do not have an Electric/Fighting type and Electivire was the best candidate for it.
