Congrats! Welcome to the battle facilities! Sometimes the game just decides that you lose, and the only path to victory is a VERY specific, and weird set of actions. For example, in Emerald, in order to win one match against a double team, seismic toss, softboiled Chansey, I needed to switch around a million times until my Dodrio could hit with tri attack and get a freeze that lasted 5 turns. Every other path of actions resulted in an automatic loss basically.
