The adoration it attracts from younger fans and newcomers is wholly manufactured and insincere. As a hardcore bunfag the design does nothing for me. It's extremely uneven, underwhelming and bland as fuck. A true shillmon in every sense of the word. Once Gen 9 rolls around the corner it will go the same way as Zoroark, another failed forced shillmon that flopped. You need to design actually interesting Pokemon with personality and let it develop a following organically, and THEN you can shill it to your heart's content.
