Pokemon is fairly shit at the competitive level, no game that is this RNG and luck based can be truely called competitive. And before you start whinging about TCGs, yes TCGs do have a luck element, but they don't have critical hits, and random chances of missing or getting secondary effects of moves going off or not.
Face it, if you're playing pokemon seriously for any reason besides a bit of casual fun or getting actual prizes, then you're a braindead moron who needs to take their meds.
