Actually, I'm thinking PLA protagonist would be the one for Fighters Pass Vol. 2 as a way to promote PLA. They'll be clones of Pokémon Trainer of course.

Rowlet - Quilava - Samurott is what I've been thinking.

Adding a mon as any of the last 2 DLCs will be the most underwhelming way to go out, that's certain.

This is a bit sad....I know he would be a cool fighter but I feel the fact Sakurai most likely chose what he felt would've been the most interesting fighter with Incenaroar makes it feels really low that Decidueye was ever considered past the the choosing stage. Even then unless you can show an article or anything showing Sakurai wanted to include Decidueye it just feels like a heavy pipe dream

Honestly I see the idea you have and honestly I feel it's likely though I feel it would probably be Cyndaquill, Dewott, and Decidueye considering how conceptual they all would be as fighters (not that quilava and sammurott aren't but rowlet really is to me)
