Went from one of the most popular mons of gen 8 to a forgotten shitmon line. I saw this phenomenon happen too with Skrelp during the lead up to X and Y. God I miss when this franchise was anti-normalfag bait during gen 5

Their turn takes super long and the battle ends without using a single move. Or they struggle before losing wasting turn after turn despite knowing it's pointless.

I actually used one in my first ORAS playtrough(Wonder Trade) and I was suprised by how dope that stupid poodle is. It's a fantastic tank that even shrugged off Fighting type STAB moves.
