Ash finally fucking snapped at that moment and actually hit Misty. This was pretty shocking to my brain at first as I've been thought that you should never hit women at that point in my life. The scene became even more gruesome as Ash started to pin Misty down on the ground and unclothe her. Obviously the Pokemon Company couldn't and wouldn't actually air a sexually violent scene but to a young maturing mind the fade to black had an even more powerful impact on my psyche. I think it's safe to say that both Ash and I became a man that week.
