I don't need to remain people that humans can feel extreme hatred just based off different skin color and slightly different facial structure. Now imagine creatures that are vastly different than humans and have the same position as a dog. All this talk of marrying is also laughable, interracial marriage only became legal in the past century and even in some societies, like Ancient Athens, a foreigner marrying an Athenian citizen was sold off into slavery, their positions seized and the citizen heavily fined.
