What are you expecting? Will there be beaches, caves, marshes, forests and mountains with actual content? Will we see Celestic Town? Will the lore be consistent?
Or will it just be an empty wasteland with nothing to do?

I’m expecting it to basically be the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra but on a larger scale. No idea if it’ll be any good or not but I like that they’re actually trying something new at least.

Whatever you expect GF will either underdeliver or deliver in such a bad, maimed, lackluster way that you'd wish they didn't implement it at all in the first place.
What I wish it'd had is basically what any other game, open world or not, has right now.
>Decent animations
>Decent graphics
>Decent gameplay
>Decent story
>Decent world
>Plus anything related to pokemon brought up to a decent fucking scale such as wide variety of pokemon, good AI and placement in the world for them, etc
Basically I wish pokemon was handed out to any other developer or that GF actually put in some effort but I know and you know that it'll never happen.

I’m hoping that ILCA do a decent job on BDSP, Masuda, Ohmori, and most of the veteran Gamefreak staff hate working on Pokemon and would rather be doing literally anything else, so if they get an actually competent team to work with their younger staff who still give a shit then they don’t have to work on Pokemon anymore but still make their obscene amounts of money. Literally everyone wins.
