Lucario doesn’t even move after the initial hit. It’s just particle effects. Slow the video down and you see it has this same animation throughout the entire duration of the move.

It’s highly possible and I’m not implying they couldn’t. Just saying nothing so far has given me hope that they’ll finally add new animations to old Pokémon since Gen 6

it's pretty good, the biggest issue i find is the awkward shell sword that's magically sheathed in the armor.
Maybe giving him a straight up sword like Cubone would have been ideal.

Game Freak will never fix the most fundamental problem with it; it being a quadruped that fights with swords. It looks awkward enough swinging around one sword, let alone two.

Underrated means it is rated poorly, but is in actuality worth liking, that is, it is rated less than it deserves. As in, it’s UNDER RATED. Rated under where it should be.

Samurott is not underrated because it deserves its poor ratings.

Exactly. Dewott was 100% on the right track and they fucked it up hard. Should’ve kept Dewott’s basic body style (bipedal otter) and just added more samurai features and better shellswords. Also, it should’ve been a more interesting type than mono Water, like Water/Steel (or Water/Fighting if not for Emboar already being a Fighting type).

Only because that’s the direction it was taking with the first two stages. Anthro mons may be decent at best, but a consistent anthro is better than a complete nonsensical change of direction in design.

Underrated implies that Samurott deserves to be more popular when it doesn't. Saying that it's the least popular Water-type starter doesn't mean anything in service to your point, because that anon already said that it deserves to be.

Personally, I don't think it's the worst Water-type. I prefer it to Intellion for sure, and I'm not sure where I'd put it in comparison to Primarina. I prefer Totodile, Mudkip, and Piplup to all of the others anyway.

Blastoise is cool too.

Adulthood is realizing Samurott was the best option in Black and White if at least design wise. Really should have been part Fighting and got access to at least Shell Smash or something, move 8 points of sp attack to attack and get an interesting new ability instead of boring shell armor
