About to play White 2. It's fine to just name her Rosa right? Which Starter should I choose? Options are between Oshawott and Snivy, since Tepig feels like a Hilda thing.

Furthermore how difficult is White 2? Should I spice up my playthrough by turning this into a Nuzlocke?

The animations are kind of stiff. I will have to compare them, but I don't remember HeartGold and Platinum's animations being that way. I have acquired a Purrloin. Bashful nature. Strongly defiant.

This game has an amazing Pokedex. If Black and White had lead with this, they would have been much more well received.

The pacing of this game is really good so far. I'm impressed. Alder offers to train you, but he doesn't take control of your character and then forcibly impart a tutorial onto you.

The training seems to be mandatory, but there's so many battles you can do prior to actually talking to him again. And you can go to Flocessay Ranch and catch, like I said

In comparison to Black and White 1, the diversity is impressive and each of them are aesthetically pleasing. My starter has already grown 6 levels. I feel like if I wanted to keep pushing it, I could get a Servine before the first Gym.

Not to mention, the game has already set up Team Plasma in no time at all.

If this were a modern Pokemon game, I feel like it'd take me quite a bit of time before I could even move my character of my own volition. Has anyone played SwSh? How bad is it in this regard? SM and XY were really aggravating.

As it turns out, Cheren is the Gym Leader of Aspertia City, so the game is sending you back home to fight him. I don't think I'll be able to get a Servine before the first Gym after all. But level 12 isn't such a bad stopping point for now, right?

I really appreciate White 2's early game so far. I'm pumping up a Patrat I caught in preparation for the Gym.
