In real life, someone physically cannot be hypnotised unless they want to be hypnotised. It is actually impossible to get hypnotised if you dont want to be hypnotised. So, considering this, how the hell does hypnosis work in pokemon? Is hypnosis something different in the pokemon world? Like some kind of mind capturing magic? Or does this mean that just about everyone in the pokemon world has a hypnosis fetish and WANTS to get hypnotised? Also, what sway does a psychic type pokemon usually have over other pokemon and humans on a regular basis? Is it dependent on willpower or is it hust random, or a set value? Or...?


I have no idea why this came to mind btw, but now im curious
