I don't have anything specifically wrong with Umbreon itself, just, in my mind, it represents all of the worst parts of the pokemon fanbase summed up in one design.
The edgelords, the judgmental outcasts, the insufferable furfags, the sexual degenerates, the stall, fucking everything. The only thing it doesn't have is people whining that it needs a new secondary type to better represent what they project on it, but that's just because Gamefreak did it first for them by making the Poison evolution into the Dark type.
Umbreon is mostly an unfortunate victim to all of this, but I can't help but think of all that when I see it, ruining it, and whatever someone is trying to do with it.
To a much lesser extent, Flygon has very similar connotations to me.
