>>46531269Unfortunately. It's pretty detrimental, and not even from a coomer standpoint. Pokemon like Gardevoir and Inteleon not having muscle detail in their limbs, particularly their legs, only serves to make the overall design look terrible by breaking the very few ties the game has to realism. They don't even need to be triple caked up, just anything besides noodle limbs.
Another issue caused by it is stylization of Pokemon who have clothes built into their design, like Delphox. Delphox probably wouldn't have gotten nearly as much hate had its dress opened up or been shortened to avoid it looking like a traffic cone. Also, seeing some leg is just nice in general. Though, picrel is a good example of figure definition being just as important, as it looks great even with no leg exposure.
