Claydol getting a third stage in its ground/psychic line is a gross gen evolution. GF hasnt done that since gen 4. What is more likely is that claydol will get some regional form that is a new typing, which will get an evolution, while the original claydol line is untouched, just like how your original linoone and farfetched still cant evolve
