BW2 is perfect, If we ever get a grey version I hope it's still a sequel, or maybe a huge prequel with the original dragon. But I think the original dragon will be linked to victini in Legends Victini

The story direction has never been as kino as Gen 5, Gen 6 was good and Gen 7 tried at the end but I feel like none of the new games captured the atmosphere of a living Pokemon World like Gen 5.

Fuck no. Gen 5 was great specifically because of how they made full on sequels rather than rip-off third versions

The series should have stopped at BW1. Still don't get why people love BW2 so much when FRLG/Emerald/Platinum are objectively better designed RPG experiences while HGSS, Emerald and Platinum have way, way more postgame. BW2 doesn't even have any of the subtleties BW1 does or even the compelling final answer as to whether Pokemon training is moral or not.

>many legendary Pokémon (Heatran, Regis, Regigigas, etc.) to catch instead of being handed to you

>Battle train
>Musicals
>memory link
>underwater ruins
>black tower/white tree
>standard stuff like online matches, trading, completing the Pokédex, etc.
And more that I may have forgotten. Granted, many of them are shared with BW1 and some don't work anymore because Nintendo killed the DS's online.

BW1 is still my favourite tho.
