Yeah I didn't use Reuniclus and Darmanitan for a run until recently as I did not like their designs when Gen 5 was released... Darmanitan is a beast and Reuniclus is tanky which comes handy. The other two was just filling the gaps.

Gallade, Gardevoir, and Scizor are my top 3 favorite Pokemon so I would start with those. Assuming we're allowed to evolve the little guys I'd get a Mamoswine and an Umbreon. I guess Togekiss for the last one?

Im not arguing that theyre fun im just flabbergasted that it has features like these in a gba romhack

The most i had ever been exposed to in terms of hardcore Pokehacks was clover and light platinum (the latter of which was really really underwhelming) so I will admit i am impressed they managed to cram all these features onto the gba

Just pick your 6 favorites anon, as long as you dont repeat more than one or two types you'll be alright.

But if i were you i'd pick at least one of these, so steel types dont completely cuck your team.

Togekiss’ special attack is the same as staraptors physical. Both are insanely high. The different abilities are also important for synergy. Do you want to Serene Grace shenanigans to screw over other Pokémon, or Intimidate to make your Pokémon live longer?

I feel Staraptor is better for in-game against trainers, gym leaders, and team galactic whereas Togekiss is versatile and could be incredibly useful against the elite 4 and Cynthia.
