So, hypothetically, if it is true that we’re getting so said ancient forms for Pokemon, what do you all want to see? I just wanna see the starters get something since all 3 are competitively irrelevant

Starters always get new art on releases. It happened from DP to Pt and SM to USUM, even.

USUM art for the Alola Starters, too.
So nah I don't think them getting new art is any hint towards new forms since that was never the case up to Gen 7.
It's entirely possible, though.

Is it really though? The game's marketing doesn't seem to be placing any importance on the starters. The trailer used Gallade in battle and all the leaked design document images use Lucario. If they were getting new forms wouldn't there be a focus on marketing the base to hype people up? It seems like they're not a priority.
