>>46517753To be fair, Gamefreak's dabbled in romance in their games, though very lightly, pic related or Ferris Wheel for example, you also have the secondary characters in the main game stories that are obvious waifu/husbando bait like Lillie, there's also the mandatory teasing in Masters like there always is in Gachashit to reel in the whales.
I'd be game for a spin-off that focuses more on the day to day of living in a small town ala Rune Factory; letting you explore the surrounding areas and fight/catch pokemon but the main meat of it being slice of life/events with the townspeople and building rapport with one of the bachelorettes which have their own little character arcs that culminate in marriage and them moving in with you.
