I'd honestly hate if the game just devolved into everyones ancestor being important, like do we really need Cyrus's ancestor being involved in whatever the group the protags represent is when he could just be inspired? And Cynthia being a completely self made trainer is way better too.

it's more of just some fun speculation anon. this is what i like during pre-release season. the speculations and the "what could be" fanarts.
i'm not saying that her "ancestor" will be there 100%, but of course i can only hope for it to happen.
if the games roll out and there's nobody resembling her there then it's fine. no harm done. not the end of the world or anything.

If anything, it's going to be a scenario like with the protags of the games looking like the modern protags from Sinnoh, in which it'll clearly be a woman who's her ancestor. I'd love to see her just be the daughter of Celestic town's leader, someone to help you with your research into the legends but ultimately not the gatekeeper of the plot progression.
