>>46519608Its more about the emotion and the act itself. Pokemon are just as thoughtful and understanding of your feelings and actions as a human would be. They understand that you hurt them out of anger and that would hurt them emotionally. Physically it depends, Pokemon do seem to recognize when someone hits them be it human or pokemon and it always seems to hurt. Even in Pokemon Amie it happens there.
Just don't abuse or hurt someone just because you can't speak their language or your mad at them.
