Instead of doing another new gimmick that no one likes(like dynamax and z-moves), they should just bring back mega evolution and expand on it.

Just because most people liked megashit, wanted more of it, and were sad to see it gone doesn't mean it's good.
I personally dislike it, which makes it objectively worse than the other gimmicks.

yeah salamence and blaziken and metagross and gengar and kangaskhan are sooooo balanced just because they're not using items, it's not like the item they're holding is the thing that's making them broken or anything

let's bring back the gen 3 soul dew and make it legal while we're at it, it's balanced because it takes up latios' item slot!

What people like most about Megas is getting new designs and a new stage in old favorites.

What most people don't realize is that cross gen evos already did this back in Gen 4 without breaking the game with power creep.

The only way I'd accept megas is by nuking their OP ness....like legit for ones like Mawile, Manectric, Houndoom, Abomasnow, and even Bannette just make them slightly redesigned and new evolutions...then for the others fucking gut them to be on the level of normal evos stat wise with their busted abilities
