>>46522690I can kiiind of understand electric being SE vs steel in the same sense that yeah steel conducts electricity like water.
But with water types the water is attached to a fleshy being that takes the hit from that conductivity.
Most steel types are not mechanisms that would take damage from being zapped because they have like no cricuit boards or whatever, they're not mechanical.
A lot of them are literally just singular pieces/slabs of steel levitating and being alive via magic.
So like it would make sense for something like a scizor with fleshy bug intestines to get fried and take SE damage from electric.
But it wouldn't make sense for something like bronzong and many other which are just "it's a piece of metal with will and no internal parts or anything, just one slab of metal with a soul attached"
Water makes no sense either, if you mean pressured water saws then yeah, but like why should shooting water bubbles at a steel type be SE?
Rusting? That would take a super long time and would only be damaging as a side effect of being wet not from it, and like what about stainless steel, i think most steel types would be that.
So i dunno senpai those two make jackshit for sense.
