I posted last night about the cards I found in my moms basement. Unfortunately, the camera doesn’t quite pick up the flaws I can see in person. There are a couple of nicks that the foil shows through on. If you look really close at the bottom, you can see where the edges are a little rough though.

Got some mail. Fuck troll and toad and their near mint garbage, Frosmoth is noticably scuffed at the top front and back. First and last time I'm ever buying from them; at least it wasn't an expensive card.

Also that onix and snorunt are two of my favorite Komiya cards. The onix for its colors and like you said the digletts in the background. The snorunt because it's a very fun card, like the gulpin.

yeah we suck, but I don't think stimulus will effect battle styles too much. Looking at scalper prices for booster boxes, they are nowhere near as high as shining fates were. There’s no edge whiting, but on a select few of my cards, there’s just the little parts of the corners where the light hits the blue weird and it looks like it’s raised or warped ever so slightly

ive heard on people shit on penny sleeves. but i have used the cheapest and the most expensive and put them in toploaders, and over the years none have received new damage. i dont doubt maybe the perfect fit sleeves being too perfect fit. but i ony have had a couple of them on cards and not seen any new damage. if you really are that insecure pay the 10 bucks for a pack of 60 dragon shield. but i have not personally seen my cards go in the shitter because of penny sleeves.

In a top loader it doesnt matter what you sleeve it in.
Sleeving with a penny sleeve and putting it in a binder is cancer. Penny sleeves are way too big.

I had my Legendary Collection set fully double sleeved with KMC perfect fits and Ultra Pro clear deck protectors for years, recently swapped them out for some dragon sheild sealable sleeves, I never noticed any warping with my cards

I have most of that set complete, thanks to collecting it when I was a kid. But now I’m at a crossroads, some of cards I have are in pretty poor shape since I traded for them on the playground in like second grade. For example, my Ursaring has obviously been stuffed in someone’s pocket. I’d like one in better shape, but I just don’t have the heart to get rid of the one I negotiated for as a kid

i have had these cards for 3 months for up to 6 years. any damage they have is pre existing. the ones that came in mint have kept in mint. the ones in near mint have stayed that. but i never use binders and never will. but someone made me paranoid that certain sleeves destroy your cards. i tested a lot of my cards and the various sleeves and came to the conclusion they are full of shit. but yeah buy what you want i just dont recommend binders, period.

Been waiting on cards I ordered from Italy for 69 fucking days now. I live in Canada and have had multiple parcels arrive from Japan that I ordered weeks after the Italian parcel. Messaged the seller and asked if he knows how long it takes to arrive recently from Italy to Canada during the pandemic, and he just replies with the fucking tracking number that shows no updates since January 6th when it departed Italy. Do I open a claim on eBay at this point or keep waiting?

I asked for a refund on my card that was taking 45 days. I told them the last update was 37 days ago and that I fully believed it was lost. They gave me the refund and they said they'd intercept the package to have it return to them. I said 'best of luck' on that one

That is a great question.
I got very drunk one night and woke up the next morning to an email saying I spent $150 on a Shining Gyarados. From Italy, of all places.
Looks okay but it definitely has microscratches. With what they're going for today I'm okay with paying what I did, I just want the fucking thing already.

I think the Rocket set was also the first actual packs I ever bought. I had shit from base/jungle/fossil, but those were gathered through singles and trades. I think my first foil pull ever was Dark Magneton
