It's kind of not thought about as much. Doesn't have the "exoticness" of Hokkaido but still outside the traditional centers. If they did though they should have the wanko soba challenge in Morioka.

Because we got (East) Kanto, West Kanto, South Kanto and North Kanto. Northeast Kanto just wouldn't fit well with the others.
