Not nearly as many would care about AC, if they were also able to piss off to the pub to watch the football, or go out with their friends for a meal after work. There's also the fact Nintendo specifically delayed it due to pre-orders of Sword/Shield indicating it would have a FAR stronger launch than AC would have had in Dec (they sure as fuck didn't delay it for quality, given there was still so much missing after all), so this "i-it would have done great" line's just plain bullshit. If it was going to compare to LGPE launch numbers, they'd have launched it too, like they did when they dropped Smash after LGPE in 2018 and get the console boost on top (one island per system, remember?)
