I like mons like Fearow and Linoone because generally stuff that's good enough for competitive is boring to use in the main game, I mean I know it's always gonna be easy but I wanna do a little bit more than just spam the A button and sweep.
>>46529954I think they're good ideas, just poorly distributed. When you can find them early game, supposing you like their evolutions, they're worthwhile. Electabuzz or Magmar too soon would overpower you too much, but Elekid and Magby wouldn't. Problem is, you don't really ever encounter Elekid and Magby early outside of one of two generations iirc.
