What pisses me off the most is that you hear shit like "CB Flygon is a threat in gen 4" when the pokemon is dogshit without outrage.
In hindsight, the correct course of action in gen 4 was to ban draco meteor, outrage, stealth rock, and U-turn after the obvious bans like Chomp, Darkrai, and Shaymin-S. Latios without draco is neutered and eats shit to Tyranitar and steels, Salamence no longer wins the game off the draco/outrage/DDance mixup, Dragonite is still a strong option because it has extremespeed, Dugtrio can no longer pick off half a team from abusing U-turn (note that momentum is broken for a whole bunch of reasons other than free Dugtrio traps), and Flygon gets put into the trash where it belongs.
