Don't think anyone has suggested Maractus and Misdreavous as Sound-types before, but it works. Lack of Noibat and Noivern is jarring, but at the same time, one of the reasons why I don't like sound-type - you couldn't really give up either of its base types.

As to the Sound-type in itself... given that Special-Normal is all-but-nominally Sound-type. The burden on Sound-type fags is to come up with Physical Sound-Type moves and special Normal-type Moves to compensate.

18 is a nice number. 19 is ugly. 20 is unwarranted.

New types can be fun to think about, but sound time is tired af.

Also, to add, replacing Pyschic on Swoobat is nonsense, as is Fighting on Kommo-o. Defeats their entire premise. Milotic comes from what? Why Voltorb? The rest, sure, but I'm not convinced Normal doesn't serve the purpose (sans maybe Kricketune but it's a shitmon anyway).

Sound is already a move category, plus basically any living thing can make sound, so Normal fits it fine in that regard.

I propose that we instead have Music type, relating to the power of song rather than just everyday sound. This way, moves like Hyper Voice can stay Normal type while other moves such as Relic Song and Perish Song can become Music type. It also means we can incorporate dancing-themed moves and mons into the physical side of Music type, given the strong connection between music and dancing (not to mention a big problem with Sound type is how it generally has no physical moves).

Before we arbitrarily start adding new Types the type chart that already exists needs better balancing. Besides, most sound moves already exist as SpA Normal. Can't wipe out an entire move category. Light wouldn't work either since you can have physical light represented via electric or fire. Mystical light is already covered with Fairy. Cosmis is dumb as space moved are tied to Psychic. Bird tried to exist but gamefreak realized how dumb that was with Flying already existing. It's too bad they didn't do the same for Rock/Ground.

Cyber type, all pokemon are artificial with dual-types being hybrid organic and electronic. Current members will be porygon and rotom, with the goal of acting as a type that can interface with machines.
Weakness to electric, ice, water, and bug(because computers, get it lol)
