>>46531941At least upscale it in an emulator. XY was a pretty great gen for new features, the PSS was the best and should have been made a staple of the series. The chibi style worked really well with the game's scale and have a few nice routes, fashion was fun and towns were as beautiful as ever. A switch-style game in the style of XY would be amazing
That being said, gen 6 is clearly where the ran out of soul, the plot isn't great, the region feels small, and the ORAS remakes were too dumbed down. I feel like gen 6 was the "we want the GO audience" prototype with Let's Go being the final product. Being canceled for gen 7 was a mistake, as a Z version with Zygarde had great potential, and the assets reused in SM show this. Overall I liked gen 6 and thought it was a good start to a new era of pokemon, but GF didn't take any of the good parts of XY and use them in newer games, resulting in gen 8 being the absolute worst (but great for fashion, lol)
