I don't even get what OP is implying. Is it gen1 mons = bad? Is it about the distribution? I'm pretty sure half of these are the same cave but on different floors so no wonder the Pokemon would be similar.

DP is kanto pandering done right, they almost learned their lesson with SwSh but there's still to many post gen 2 pokemon in it, plus they added shitty gimmick forms. What I would do for a DP pokedex again...

The issue is that the dex has 15p pojemin and only uses ~20 for the dungeons through the entire game. Even if you wanted to catch everything for the pokedex you would get a few pokemon in the first cave and then only 1 new encounter per area for most of the game, making exploration boring.
