4. Megas are a shit gimmick so yes thank god theyre gone, this is good
5. Yeah it could use better animations but theres plenty cool ones like Pyro Ball or the Dynamax attacks
6. Its creative and fun, but in like a braindead kind of way
7. I dont play for the story but its a nice bonus

You know what else is also a kids series? Fuckin Mario and Zelda and yet the devs still push themselves to create even better shit. When these two came to the switch Mario got Odyssey, Zelda got BotW, and Pokemon got reused assets that GF lied about and a halfassed gimmick with laughably bad animations and story. Sure let's just keep making absolute shit afterall it's only for kids. Next game should be two sticks and a fuckin dog and you fucking retards will use that same exact excuse.

They make the games with kids in mind, and alot of the times kids just want the bare minimum, I mean fuck, you probably played RBY/DP as a kid and enjoyed the fuck out of that shit even though they're an unplayable mess. Here's the little thing about DP. They fuckin improved from the previous games. DP had it's problems with pokemon and the shit healthbars but they didn't rip off Emerald graphics and call it a day. They actually made newer shit for the better hardware. They ddin't blatantly rip off models from the gameboy and say they made them again from scratch. And RBY while buggy as shit was still the starting point of pokemon and even then yellow improved the base game still. You think kids deserve the bare minimum cause, "yea kids enjoy it anyway" but the heart and soul put into these games create people who love the gens they started in.
