Yeah but I think the trailer for the actual game holds a bit of priority over a spinoff mobile game, don't you think? Plus Rosa doesn't say anything that confirms her in Masters. If she does eventually say something through an event or whatever then sure I'll accept her over Nate. Lord knows everyone prefers Rosa anyway.
By the way, she has the Snivy line in Masters which is what she had in the trailer. Probably doesn't mean much but it's still something to think about

They're intentionally keeping the split mostly even.

Popularity aside, the implication with promotional material has always been the "first" version of each game (Black, X, Sun, etc.) was associated with the male protagonist. But in Pokemon Masters Gloria has Zacian, the legendary of the primary version of the games that she belongs to. Not that it's saying much since it's just a mobile game, but it does kind of seem like they're making out Gloria to be the main protagonist of those games. But I think all of the other protagonists for the series would have been the guy

Torterra fits with Lucas, Infernape with Barry and Empoleon with Dawn. This combination can only happen if Lucas is the player character.

Hilbert is clearly the MC in Black and White, not sure what to tell you besides the game being a male-oriented story and the music video bump of chicken that came out shows Hilbert VS N, as well as Generations also showed Hilbert VS N

Promotional trailer for BW2 showed Nate much more prominently than Rosa in a lot of key scenes

Don't care about Gen 6

Gen 7 Lillie's dialogue alters if you pick Selene and it seems like the intended experience is playing as the boy since it clearly has romantic undertones at times and we all know Gamefreak hates fags
