Anyone else never does any post game stuff? I always lose interest in the game the second I beat the champion

I actually thought about building up a living dex to be completed when the remake drops but there are still two fuckin mythicals that I can't get without fuckin hacking a DS and I just can't be bothered.

Thats an outdated marketing term from the 90s. Its like people who unironically think Sonic should be boostshit just because the Sonic X theme song they heard back then as kids said GOTTA GO FAST, it was always a momentum based platformer first and speed thrill second. Likewise its up to you to catch them all or not, its not an explicit main goal anymore.

Ironically I started caring about post-game when it began to be cutted down with XY. I like when they add it, it doesn't kill my experience if they don't. To me the "game" ends when you become a champion, everything else is a bonus.

I used to but i got tired of having to build specific battle tower/Frontier teams in stead of doing it with cool Mons i like.
I do always take a crack at the battle factory though.
Best facility ever.

I make a full living dex, any npc trades I breed so I can have versions without nicknames, I doubt anybody else takes this extra step but the nicknames always look ugly to me

The last postgame I ever cared about was ORAS. I got through Sun's postgame without a care, then I stopped following the franchise.
It's not that I don't care about postgame, gen VI and up just sucks.

Yes. Battle Frontier/Battle Subway is easily the Pokemon content I spent the most hours playing.

oh my bad, I'm kinda ignorant of those games, I meant the originals where you had to piss about with the underground and streetpass, which is pretty much impossible now, though I think it might be possible to do it alone, just with 2 handhelds and another cart

Same, my living dex is nickname free except my unown include the letter/symbol because back in gen 3 they were the only pokemon other than deoxys woth forms but unlike deoxys you could actually get all of the forms in one game plus nidoran has the symbol in it's name for male or female so I figured it made sense. Then gen 4 came along and added a bunch of forms some of which changed and most wouldn't fit as nicknames so I didn't bother anymore, just caught them for the dex.

On my first playthrough of a game I do all the postgame stuff. Subsequent playthroughs I just enter the hall of fame, do a little bit of postgame till I get bored, then make a new save file.

yes, I've caught them all since gen 1, it was the slogan, it was the drive, the monsters are the main content, nothing else, take out the monsters and all you have is an empty dollhouse where you dress up, which is the part I cant stand, tear out character customization and I will not miss it, I dont use it at all, it's not a game, its bells and whistles

Recently I've ended up just playing another game once I finish a replay. I try to do all of the postgame (story, not battle facilities) in my first playthrough of each game though.
