the only reason I don't use repels is because I'm gen 1, I'm so used to a tiny item limit that I don't buy anything other than great balls, I sell nearly all TMs too, working with only learnsets, just because I dont want to run to store shit in a PC every time I find shit, I will even leave all 9 open world rare candies on the floor, until I'm ready to fuck up the elite 4, all of this like I said is because of the early item limit, I dont do potions, I dont do antidotes, ethers, elixers, everything is done with a quick dig/fly/teleport to a pokecenter, nuggets get sold instantly
