BDSP is being developed by the same guys who made Home with the same textures so I'm 99% sure BDSP is going to include the full national dex.

Would you buy the game if the include natdex?
Would you buy Swish if Gamefreak puts out a free update for compatibility with BDSP?

Every game up to BDSP was made with people who had the everything from models to textures for the entire Nat Dex so I’m 99% sure SwSh is going to include the full national dex

I'm 99% sure you're wrong. Still, I wouldn't buy if for the natdex either, gen 8 is terrible in many more ways and playing gen 4 is as easy as loading up a ROM, I don't need some playmobil remaster

For whatever reason, it seems that whatever lighting they decide to use means they'd have to do more rigorous testing of the models, since there's more obscure textures that they'd have to modify to make it look good in different lighting. I don't know much about Home, are the models there prerendered, or are they actually rendered in Home's engine? And even if they are, what engine is BDSP running in? If it's not the Gen 8 engine (although I have no idea why it wouldn't be running in it) then what the fuck is it running on?

It was never about the model. Lame Freak always had models for every old Pokémon. We will NEVER have a full dex again because otherwise people would be able to take their Pokémon out of Prison and Masuda or who's ever idea this was wouldn't get their daily random check.

I'd be ecstatic, but that alone wouldn't convince me. We saw a couple Platinum features in the initial trailer and the new promotional merch hints at megas returning, but I'm gonna wait for more trailers and make sure it's not basically 1:1 DP before I decide.
