I guess it ultimately doesn't matter in a pokemon game, but I do like it when the cities area bigger and have more to do, in order to flesh out the world.
>>46548063GF always plays it way too safe when they do remakes. RBY's kanto was limited by the tech of the time, and so the routes were tiny, flat, and simplistic. Usually just straight paths with some grass on the sides and maybe a couple rocks. Would've been nice if they took a more aggressive approach to redesigning Kanto on the GBA, but oh well.
