Meaning you need to send it into battle, mega-evolve it, switch it out, and then switch it back in later on to absorb an electric attack. But of course then your opponent will already see that coming from a mile away, and sceptile is to fragile to be switching in and out like that anyway.
Plus, even if it didn't have that ability, it'd still have a 4x resist to electric anyway. Although being basically immune to paralysis is a nice touch. But it's nowhere near as good a use for sceptile as similar abilities are on other mons, like Gastrodon or Lanturn.
