Guzma is probably the closest thing to that because he hates the island trial shit and in the anime he beats people using megashit and z-moves without having to use them himself

I have not played SwSh but why does he hate it.
I understand that he doesn't use it in his hometown because it lacks Dynamax energy or whatever. But why does he not use it elsewhere like in the championship?

Only you, Serena (post-game), Diantha, Korrina, and Lysandre use megas in XY, it almost seems like the other gym leaders/elite 4 don't even know about it

Technically Lysandre because not every Pokemon is capable of mega evolution and due to how scarce key stones and mega stones are but he uses this as more of an example how shitty people are because they fight over resources.

Doubt it.
He refuses to use Dynamax even when he gets the chance to in the Champion Cup. Either because he simply doesn't like gimmicks, or because he doesn't think it's fair for battling to revolve around a gimmick not everyone can use.
Either way, he wouldn't use Megas, because they are a gimmick, and you need special rare stones to use them.

Gigamax, from a gameplay perspective, is a mix between Mega Evolution, and each Gigamax has their own 'Z-Move'.

But yes, they go giant and change their design if they're able to gigantamax.

They are a power-construct made out of energy. They're not Holograms per se, they're supposed to work like the energy that makes Ultraman huge. That is why Machamp is a Ultraman reference in Gigantamax form even.

Space warps around the Pokemon to make it bigger in comparison to everything.
