Gen 4 and 5 are some of the most hideous looking official DS games to have ever come out (if you have to emulate it for it to look good, it’s not that good bro), I love Gen 3 but it looks like dogshit compared to the GBA’s library, Gen 2 is the rare fluke they truly are some of the best looking games on the GBC but that was Iwata magic at work, Gen 1 looks absolutely atrocious for original GB. People complain about SWSH’s graphics like the series suddenly hasn’t always looked hideous compared to its peer games, it’s been standard fare since the day Red and Blue dropped. Pokemon will never ever look good for its console, it’s probably somewhere in their nip contracts. Musically I do have to walk back though, Gen 1-5 have some magnificent OSTs and Gen 6 and 7 have a lot more solid soundtracks than they’re given credit for,,, but I digress. Pokemon always looks bad, always runs bad, and always makes money. Newfags who pretend that Pokemon was ever visually impressive need to gtfo, I bet y’all weren’t even alive when Red and Blue came out.
