Oshawott and Dewott both have bodies built for swinging swords. They're bipedal sea otters. Samurott stop being an otter and becomes a sea lion for some reason, yet it still awkwardly swings swords around.

If you're making a samurai Pokemon, making it a quadruped is retarded. Look at Golisopod for a samurai Pokemon done right

They used a variety of weapons than just swords. Being on all fours reflects both their armor's weight and cavalry.

I just think that’s a really stupid place to have to pull a sword out from. Try making that motion yourself, it’s fucking awkward as hell and doesn’t feel natural. Doing that on all fours is likely even worse.
It would have been better to have the horn sticking out of the big shell on its head could be pulled out instead, or maybe have them extend out from the foreleg armour, kinda like Wolverine.

What about special attacks?
The earliest Samurai were mostly mounted archers than swordsman. They used ranged-weaponry in battle.

Why are you still confusing themes with execution you goddamn retard? I agree Samurott design could be way better, but the theme is intact, it goes from a baby otter that cuts enemies down with his belly protector to a more dexterous chuuni boy to a full samurai otter, the theme is flawless, even if the excution is flawed.
