>>46568231It felt like a natural continuation from R/B/Y for me. It introduced new Pokemon, characters, places and types whilst still letting us revisit the older places - showing the impact of what we/Red achieved in the previous generation.
I've sunk more hours into Johto than any other region. The originals will always have a special place in my heart, but I mostly play HeartGold now. Being able to walk around with your Pokemon is something that I find to be peak comfy in the franchise.
