Because it serves no purpose but to reduce variety and replayability. You don't need to save on space because its not the 90s anymore, and they obviously didn't have game balance in mind when their solution to not over levelling is "just swap out your entire team from time to time"

The collection aspect didn't get any less fun because the rough number of Pokemon to actualy capture in the game is about the same as usual, and it was never engaging to "lol transfers everything from the old games"

They don't even need to do that. Literally nothing that was removed would be above NU do to how retarded and powercrept the new gens have been. Unless your telling me that Meganum and Typhlosion are all of a sudden so broken they had to be removed after over 20 years of being the the most useless starters in the history of the franchise.

What could be so time consuming that Lame Freak has to exclude Pokemon they all ready have models for? The only benefit for shifting the series into 3-D was so that assets could be reused. The models were specifically future-proofed to the point where older games couldn't handle them properly so that they could be reused for future games.

You are the reason why GF thinks people wanting the NatDex means that they want to be able to catch their 70000000th geodude. The NatDex was never about catching all the pokemon in one game, it was always about transferring up your teams.

If that doesn't already make things bad enough, SWSH is a game on the Switch and the whole battle system is slower than fucking PBR on the Wii.
I'd be fine with a dexcut if they used it to benefit the game, and I'd be fine with shitty animations if they were at least as fast as PBR.
The problem is that they did neither of these and cut the mons specifically to sell Pokemon Home.
