Watching the film, ignore the dialouge, just watching the film and interactions beween Ash andd both Bianca and Latias-as-Bianca fucking paints the story - Bianca would not have had that dramatic a change of heart with her feelings for Ash. Respect, finally, admiration possibly, desiring to kiss him (despite clearly being less mature than she) not so much. Makes more sense Latias, being the girl who showed interest in him all through the film was the one who kissed him.
