Bros do any of you know around what level one will usually be when getting the super rod (located the route south of Lavender) in Crystal? I was thinking of getting a dragonair as the final member of my team but grinding all the way up at best a lv. 20 dratini as soon as I get to the Dragon's Den doesn't sound appealing. With the super rod dratini and dragonair always appear at lv. 40 so I was wondering how much better that could be.
Otherwise I'll leave the last party slot to a dedicated HM slave, find another mon, or leave it alone. Suggestions welcome.

Anyone else have problems with saves in the third gen? My leaf green has been acting weird as I’m playing through it. It’s not a bootleg either. I saved in front of the last two grunts at the silph co, beat Giovanni, saved, and now I’m back in Pokémon tower? I’ve had a couple of problems with the save file being “deleted” too. Starting to get disheartened playing through it...

Yeah, some of the double battles in XY are tricky. I think there's a Kadabra fight later that fucked me up.

Just got R2 in pokemon stadium and i'm only missing 3 pokemon in my gen 1 living dex. Omastar, Flareon, and Raichu.
Raichu, I wanna win a surfing pikachu and evolve into. The other two I'm either gonna have to start a new run of gen 1, or beg the rng gods to reward me with them after beating the Rival battle in Stadium. So far they gave me two hitmonchans and two squirtles, so I think I might just do another run. Either erase Red or wait for me repro of Green to arrive and hope it's compatible with Stadium... I have heard english Green repros are compatible.

That's kinda lame if true, game boy tower's triple speed has definitely spoiled me. At least I have a GBC to play it on, but the important part would be Oak's Lab.
