I am a pokemon oldfag since 98, I've seen the anime, read the manga, played the trading card games and pokemon games straight up to platinum.

I cannot for life of me to feel that there is no hope for the franchise or the degenerate community as the whole. Games start rehashing due to lack of ideas and creativity, sheer greed and inpetitude over quality of the franchise or attempt to increase lifespan of already drying up franchise.
