If Graveler looked more like Golem this would be believable, but the current design jas about as much evidence for your theory as it does for the Machoke/Graveler trade theory.

Fun Fact: Graveller and Golen were likely unrelated Pokemon when they were originally designed. I guess they decided that two unrelated round rock monsters were a little dumb when they decided that evolution would be more of a main gimmick later in development. They could have been version exclusives though, if they felt like it.

I used to think Geodude evolved into Onix since I saw the anime first and Brock had those two like Misty and her Staryu/Starmie

machop to machoke /IT JUST GETS BIGGER/ machoke to machamp the muscles have grown so much and could already barely be contained my machoke without it's skin splitting open, the arms divide into 2 new arms all together

I've always felt machamp should have a signature move where it takes off it's power save belt and it effectively works as a fighting type explosion in practice
