It doesn't matter if they are rare, they are still perfectly obtainable. If you want to get them guaranteed just make separate save files and get friends to help you transfer the gift balls over.

Then those people can make new save files to farm more balls or trade in online communities for mons in the balls they want. It's fine as it is, Apricorn and Beast Balls being super common should only occur in their home regions. They SHOULD be a pain to get elsewhere, and this is coming from someone who fucking loves UBs and was really not excited to farm dynite ore for beast balls.

They have literally never done this anon. This has been the status quo since fucking 2000 with Crystal Version and the model makes them profit. They aren't going to change it just because you don't like it. This isn't even a "shit got worse with time argument", if anything it got better. The DLC for SWSH was a MUCH better value than buying Crystal if you already owned Gold or Silver. Your issue is with the franchise as a whole since the beginning and it really sounds like you just need to leave it behind and play something else.

I played Sun. Which was really good in my opinion. I was just a poorfag and didnt get a 3ds. I played it on my friends 3ds and I really enjoyed it. Didnt want to touch x and y because I kept hearing they were too easy.

I thought XY was good but it was pretty unpolished near the end. SM on the other hand was a bad time from start to finish. Probably the first game I played until the end just to instantly quit without even attempting to catch all the region Pokemon.

X and Y aren't any easier than other Pokemon games desu. They have a solid enough story and great music and graphics for their time though. I highly recommend them. Gen 7 was my favorite though, they clearly made a solid effort with that gen even if there was a decent amount of handholding. Sun and Moon are better storywise than USUM though, funny enough. If you're gonna play a gen 7 game definitely play the base versions.

If they want them to be rare they can make them being tradable for rare items/ingredients, or locked behind a subquest or something. Making them rare because of rng it's lazy and tedious.
