in light of all the coomer posts and regular shitposting, lets post some good memories. i'll start.

>i loved the pokemon anime and leaf green, the only game i had in the series besides pokemon TCG for gameboy. i was a quiet kid who loved animals so pokemon was easy for me to attach to.
>christmas time is here, and i had asked my mom to get me fire red. i liked charizard more than venusaur so of course i wanted fire red, made sense to me. i was also jealous of a friend from sunday school who had fire red.
>my mom asks my aunt for a bit of advice since my aunt is in highschool and likes gaming, she also plays a ton of pokemon.
>aunt tells her to get me a game called "pokemon emerald" instead, and tells her that i would be very happy about it.
>fast forward to christmas eve, mom and I are staying with grandparents and i have a bed of comforters made on the floor in front of the fire, my mom sleeping on a couch nearby. i watch the christmas tree lights and listen to the TV while i drift off, just itching to play pokemon fire red.
